Lotus
Jingling chimes, I’m second in line,
Beady eyes become lazy.
I hope that the bird bath water cuddles you,
Supporting your tired claws.
Black and white thieves nibble cheese,
His head held by lotus.
Burbling gaggles of victory
To his ears.
Gardening gloves, your wings held,
The lotus drifts,
Even the tadpoles knew.
